Once a while we receive questions about the application of the recipe on the use of Aloe according to father Romano Zago we published on our page. In the following we will post those questions and answer them as well. And we will also publish your experiences you made with this recipe on this place.

Q: “I have large Aloe fresh commercial eaves available from Mexico here in NYC, but am unclear from the above whether to use the whole leaf (green firm skin and all ….minus of course the spines and well cleaned) in a blender or just the gel. Is there specific benefit to the skin? I never heard of using it with the gel, the gel usually being the active, medicinal part. Any clarity on that you might have would be appreciated. Not aaverse to using the shell of the Aloe when I blend it, but just wanted to make sure it is edible and that that is what the Brother’s recipe called for.
Warmly, Daniel”

A: Yes, Daniel. The recipe of father Zago is telling exactly to use also the firm green skin, even if it is purgatory and would have adverse effects if we would eat just this part alone. But as it makes up only a fraction of the whole liquid we produce together with the gel and honey, it causes the desired effect: to stimulate your digestion and cleaning your digestive system.

When dealing with terminal illness, a patient’s ability to handle stress is always an important issue. Their days are often filled with routine amounts of tests, exams, checkups and treatment adding up to a rigorous schedule. In addition, the fear that often goes hand in hand with a terminal illness can often be debilitating. This level of stress is no more apparent than it is with patients of Mesothelioma cancer.
Often overlooked and unfamiliar to the masses, mesothelioma affects nearly 3,000 new patients a year. This involves the development of cancer within the lining of the chest and abdomen area, as there are three separate types of the disease. These include pleural, pericardial and peritoneal mesothelioma. This cancer is known both for its direct connection to asbestos exposure and its long latency period.
With asbestos exposure being the main cause of the disease, numerous military veterans and plant workers from the 1900’s have dealt with the rigors of mesothelioma. The latency period of this cancer is known to make it highly dangerous with low survival rates. Often times, patients are diagnosed 20 to 50 years after an original exposure to asbestos. This long latency period is responsible for making the average mesothelioma life expectancy so low, usually between four and 18 months.
Stress management can be an important factor for these patients in ensuring their quality of life is as good as possible. With low life expectancy and survival rates, these patients’ stress can often be through the roof. Perhaps the most important aid in stress management is a solid support system from family and friends. A solid support system not only prepares patients for the rigors of treatment, but they also provide a sense of relaxation and home, as well as being a source of comfort.
Along with having a solid support system, a number of cancer centers and physicians are suggesting complementary treatment methods as a great resource during the therapy process for patients with all types of cancer. Some of the more popular examples of complementary medicine such as yoga, meditation, chiropractic care, acupuncture and others are known not only to help patients relax, but also as an aid in relieving some of the major side effects of routine treatment such as chemotherapy. With the influx in complementary medicine and a greater focus on keeping treatment side effects to a minimum, patients with mesothelioma and other forms of cancer can explore new ways to overcome the stress that may come with such a diagnosis.
With fall just starting, the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation is planning to hold the eighth annual Mesothelioma Awareness Day on September 26, 2011. Some of the main issues this year will include the predicted growth of new diagnoses, as well as the aftermath of major events such as 9/11.This day will serve to raise both awareness and funding of this devastating disease.

This is a contribution of Katrina Banks. Thank you Katrina!

Do we always see a terminal illness in the right light of life? Of course, it makes a big difference if it is our own illness or that of a beloved one. But do we have the right perspective on it? In such a situation the experience of others in similar conditions can make the difference working on the spiritual-emotional level to confront and combat the illness.

Joanne Harvey in her new book „Dying to Live, Embracing the Journey“ shatters the illusion that death has to be sad and horrible. It can be challenging and sometimes difficult but with hospice support it can also be powerful beyond belief. Her practical results-based book will help you push beyond self-imposed limitations and provides ways to maximize your best life possible.

The saying “you’re only as old as you feel” is proving accurate, according to Markus H. Schafer, co-author of a study from Purdue University that compared people’s chronological age and their subjective age to determine which has more influence on cognitive ability in older adults.

Participants aged 55 to 74 were surveyed about aging and initially asked, “What age do you feel most of the time?” The majority identified with being 12 years younger than they actually were. Those closing lines to Frank Sinatra’s hit song “Young at Heart” seem to apply here.

The people who felt young for their age were more likely to have greater confidence about their cognitive abilities a decade later, Schafer reported in the Journal of Gerontology: Social Sciences, and subjective age had a stronger effect than chronological age.

Do you feel young at heart?

Youthfulness is an attitude and a way of life. Researchers characterize it as the need to love and be loved and the need to experiment and learn. Youthfulness includes traits such as curiosity, inquisitiveness, imagination, creativity, open-mindedness, joy, spontaneity, enthusiasm, sense of humour, playfulness, optimism, and flexibility.

Our bodies and brains are designed to continue delighting in these traits throughout life, but programming from society, television, advertising, parents, teachers, and friends–even our own self-talk–can lead one to feel old.

So how can you maintain a sense of youthfulness?
•	Recognize that you have a choice in your life. You do not have to blindly accept society’s typical norms about aging.
•	Continually learn new skills and activities to stimulate your curiosity and thirst for knowledge. Here you find some help in this mind training.
•	Socialize with others, and embrace new technologies like social networking websites. Extraversion was a defining personality characteristic in the offspring of centenarians in a Boston University of Medicine study on personality and aging. (The average age of the children studied: 75!)
•	Nurture youthful traits. You can do this anytime with this simple visualization exercise:
Close your eyes and relax. Select a trait of youthfulness you want to integrate into your personality. You might have to think back to your childhood when you had an ample supply of imagination, spontaneity, or resiliency. Use rich imagery (Joe Vitale might help you with this reawakening) to immerse yourself in this trait, expressing it as a fun-loving child. Tap into the visualization daily until you truly inhabit this trait.

And finally: Forget about your real age and enjoy your abilities, physical and mental, as if you had NO age!

Terminal illness is a broad term for many unpleasant diseases. If you got one of your own, you know how difficult it is sometimes to get help or to find the best treatment. And each day new cancer types are appearing and challenging science, the doctors and the patients. Who takes care for those? Who makes the investment to study those new and rare illnesses?

There is an initiative that does exactly this: collecting funds and invest them into research and help for those rare cancers. Tunes to TargetCancer is a series of concerts, events, and music download opportunities to help raise funds for rare and underfunded cancers. Every month, local, independent, and national artists donate unreleased songs for download exclusively on The Right Track. Check it out. For a lousy $ 0.99 you can download those songs and contribute to the good cause. Isn’t it worth it?

Running a blog you always appreciate comments on your own contributions. It provides feedback and makes you even more popular (and that’s one of the main reasons to run it, right).
But sometimes (and even more often) you get comments that don’t really fit into your concept. Let me give you some examples:

Some are simple intentions to abuse your blog for a backlink to their own blog or site – and those spammers don’t care about the impression they give with their comment. For example this:
“to the article there is still a definitely as you did in the decrease efflux of this beg http://www.go****************************? (real link withhold) I noticed the utter you have in the offing not used. Or you profit by the dark methods of inspiriting of the resource. I have a week and do necheg”
Isn’t it enlightening? (Despite of the destroyed links we made no editing on the presented examples!)

Others don’t care and don’t even try to dissimulate their assault, like this one:
“DrMvzy qm*****pro, lbtzekuihfzg, [link=http://nviocelarxat.com/]nviocelarxat[/link], http://b*********d.com/ (real links withhold)“
But the link doesn’t even work! So why?

And of course you get those flat propaganda like comments as this example:
“buy levitra =( cialis generic 8PPP valium gtenfh health insurance hqnf”

Or have you once got this one?:
“Можно и поподробней было. Но и так в принципе внятно.”

Isn’t it annoying to get all those stupid contributions on your blog and to have them filtered out? Is their no way to filter those things out before they get into the inbox of your blog? And what happens with all those comments marked as spam and sent back to your blog provider? Do they get effectively banned?

Well, this was actually not one of our usual blog posts, but surely happens to many (or even all) of us working with blogs. The only thing we can do is asking our readers and commenters to be ethical and reasonable and not to spam the world with unrelated and immoral comments. This will make our life more pleasant. Thank you!

You surely heard of the movie The Secret (you probable have seen it or read the book). All the people featuring in it were talking about the Law of Attraction (LoA) and what good it could do for you. I saw the movie three times and immediately afterwards had a feeling of enthusiastic emotions. Of course I stumbled on many other material about the LoA during the time after – this is also part of the LoA. But after some time I had the feeling that things didn’t really work out for me as I expected: just affirm you desires and they will come. It didn’t really happen! And I’m sure the same happened to more then 80% of the listeners of The Secret.

So what is the secret behind The Secret? Or is it just a scam?

Well, each of the “gurus” featuring in the movie, and many more, tell us that they know the missing link. They would sell us their program to get the results.

Reading and analyzing all those “solutions” they mostly come to the same: our brain is tricking us, with negative beliefs, the super-potent unconscious mind overriding our conscious thoughts and wishes, our blockades that hinder to free our good wishes and give the right orders to the Universe.

So how to get rid of them and make us free to finally get what we really want?

It is really so easy! You just have to release all those negative thoughts in your brain! But it’s not just done in a minute, you will have to do it constantly until you have released them all. Negative thoughts will come up by the time and with specific situations. So you will have to get used to the procedure of releasing the negative thoughts and apply it at the very moment. And you will see coming abundance, peace, love, health and grace into your life.

The best orientation for this process was developed from the experience of Lester Lovenson by Hale Dwoskin who made out of this the famous Sedona Method. Did you know that more then one third of the people featuring in The Secret apply this method?
